    Canopy Design?

Starting to build the canopy for the 135g, anyone have some good plans?

I do have a shell to start with so I shouldn't be that hard.

So I got the plywood cut for the top of the canopy last night. Just need to mount the lights on it and run the wiring.

What lighting are you using for the 135g?

    Starting off using 3 x 250w MH, looking at 2 x 10k bulbs and maybe a 1 x 20k bulb.

I see you completed building the hood on the 135g thread, did you find it hard building it and would you do it again? Big Smile

It wasn't that bad at all, I had the basic shell of the hood when I purchased the tank and the only thing that I had to do was wire in the MH fixtures. Overall it was a fun project and was really happy the everything worked in the end.

Would I do it again? Well I started planning on building I nice looking hood for the 65g tank over the winter. We shall see how that project goes.
