    Cooking rock

I use 1) Gray rubber maid can. 2) Heater. 3) Power head. 4) An air stone. I take the rock and swish it around in old water. Then I scrub it with a brush. I Change some water every 2# weeks, and repeat. Swish and scrub, every time I change water. 3 or 4 months. Now the rock is back in good shape. I do this to kill off algae like bubble and Caulerpa, plus the detritus.Cool

I broke down the 44 gal. last night. I put the yellow tail damsel`s ( Chrysiptera parasema ), in the 40 gal. . The clown fish (Amphiprion melanopus ), is in a 30 gal. with a lunare wrasse ( Thalassoma lunare ) . The rock is cooking! I will take the tank out side tomorrow , and clean it up good. the tank is in bad shape!Sad

I just saw a pistol shrimp ( Alpheus spp. ) , in my 44 gal. I netted him and put him in the 40. I was going to put a shrimp/ goby, ( Stonogobiops nematodes ) in the tank any way, know I just have to get the goby!Big Smile
